Happy New Year!
We are delighted to start the new year on a high with the announcement of being awarded £37,818.07 from the Rural and Islands Communities Ideas into Action Fund, which is delivered in partnership between the Scottish Government and Inspiring Scotland. The funds received will go towards the purchase of butchery equipment and install required drainage in the deer larder to complete the ‘hill to table’ process of our deer larder and the development of our tree nursery, therefore enabling ACF to become a more resilient community forest.

We’d like to say a big thank you to the Scottish Government and Inspiring Scotland for their support.

Clunes Forest School Garden Day – 2nd February 2020
Great turnout for the Clunes willow harvest this morning. Thanks to all who helped out! We managed to get all the willow harvested and the weather stayed mainly dry.
We’ll have another garden day on 1 March – main jobs are to sort out last year’s withies and to weed the coppice. All welcome!
